Hot Melt Tapes
Hot melt tapes exhibit a significantly higher adhesion in comparison toanacrylic tape. A hot melt tape isideal for applications involving machine applied tapes,overstuffed cartons, or cartons with a high degree of recycled content. They perform well in temperatures ranging from 45F to 120F. Hot Melt Adhesives are 100% solids thermoplastic resins that liquefy when heated. When applied to a surface they cool, harden and reach their bond strength within seconds. Due to their quick work life you can move assemblies immediately upon application, eliminating the need for clamps, fixturing or additional drying time and energy.
Based on the different application purposes, the recipe of the Hot Melt Adhesive Packaging Tape can be adjusted. For example, the recycled cartons, low temperature environment, high humidity, heavy duty packaging, etc, will require different features of the tape so its formula will be adjusted before mass production in order to meet the packaging requirements.
PTFE Adhesive Tapes
Our PTFE tapes can be used on all threaded pipe, valves and fittings carrying acids, solvents, alkalis, steam, hot and cold water, LP gas, natural gas, oxygen and almost any chemical. Weather-resistant, flexible, low dielectric constant, chemically inert and usable at low temperatures, all of our tapes perform over a temperature range of -450° to 500° F and up to 10,000 psi. They are non-hardening, non-toxic, non-stick and non-flammable.
PTFE adhesive backed tape, also known as Teflon tape, is a high performance material that offers excellent release characteristics whilst being able to cope with extreme temperatures. Tefsil adhesive tapes are manufactured with a high temperature resistant surface and a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive.
